ことわざ「二階から目薬」をバーチャルに体験する作品です。二階から目薬をさすのも、さされるのも自分です。「二階にいる自分」の視点から、「階下の自分」の眼に狙いを定め、目薬をさしてください。うまくさすことができれば爽快感に包まれるでしょう。失敗したならば、ことわざの意味を身をもって知れるはずです。これは、言葉の世界を表現し、さらに「その先」を想像し、体験する作品です。

This work reproduces a Japanese proverb “eyewash from upstairs”, which means uselessness or difficulty, using virtual reality technology. You must apply eyewash to yourself from upstairs. You aim at your eye and drop the eye wash. When you succeed beyond the difficulty, you will be blessed. Or when you fail, you will experience the meaning of the proverb. Feel the world of words, wish eyewash!
