ViVi-EAT
Eating is an entertainment where we enjoy each food through their texture, taste, scent, appearance and sound. We focus on the tactile flow sensation in throat resulting from swallowing foods, which is one of the important factors in eating experience. However, this sensation is hard to detect after swallowing. Therefore, we propose a novel tactile device called “ViVi-EAT” which provides the sensation of foods going down from the esophagus to the stomach and their movements in the stomach. First, the system identifies the type of foods and detects the swallowing moments. And then, it provides a tactile flow to indicate the movements of the food via a jacket with vibrators. We believe that this device augment the experience of eating and provides new enjoyment of eating.

Perch on My Arm!
In this application users can virtually feel a bird perching on their arm. When the user puts his/her arm through the device, the components inside will reenact the bird’s weight and movement; for example, its feet grabbing your arm, walking sideways and flapping its wings. In this system users are able to interact with an invisible bird just by moving their arm.

Momentary Syonen Marumaru ~The MANGA Generator~
Creating manga automatically is a topic in virtual reality.This project realizes an automatic shonen manga generation. Theexperience is designed to show skeleton of manga, serif and backgrounds by projection. Users' postures are recognized to drawactions of characters automatically.The users can role various characters by their expressions. If a user has a lower tone voice, he can make a morbid character with a background effects by top to down strokes.

The “Ah(あ)” is a just simple one word and shows various expressions at the same time. The purpose of this study is to propose new type of device which makes people experience the sound of the “Ah(あ)” intuitively. The device is provided various contexts by users and make various sounds of “Ah(あ)”as a output. Through these series of experience, people can understand about “Ah(あ)” and realize the latent value of the “Ah(あ)”.

Augmented "Nodogoshi"
In this work, we define good feeling and briskness while drinking as nodogoshi, and augment it. We focus on sounds of drinking and utilize exaggerated sound effects to augment nodogoshi. The participant of this work will play like the performer of a tv-cf of a drink. S/he is surrounded by brisk sounds which synchronized with his/her action. Therefore, s/he can feel augmented nodogoshi.

Polka Dot - The garden of the water spirits -
Have you ever been impressed by looking at morning dew shining like a diamond on the leaves? In this paper, we propose “Polka Dot”, a waterproof fabric display with which water drops come alive. On this display, water drops shine beautifully and move around like creatures. Users can interact with the water spirits, called “MIZUTAMA”s, by touching, feeding, sucking up and coloring it. Please enjoy the interaction with MIZUTAMA through Polka Dot.

Virtual Doctor Fish
This paper proposes a system to display a sense of being dabbed by doctor fish. We selected ultrasound as a method for providing this sense, and implemented an ultrasound transducer array for displaying dabbing force. In addition, we consider about the quantification of that sense. After the quantification, we made an index of the strength which is given by doctor fish and we could express this sense by this novel ultrasound transducer array.

Dried bonito display
This project demonstrates a "Bonito Flake Display", which artificially recreates the unique motion of dried bonito via a physical, tactile display. This display asserts the possibility of a new type of tactile expression by controlling the motion without the use of actuators.
